RAM RULES

Military Airsoft Courses – FEGAA

1. Military Airsoft Courses (RAM)

RAM is an innovative format designed to offer a competitive, rewarding and accessible experience, keeping costs low and fun high.

It promotes competition and respect for the rules, helping the activity grow through well-structured, high-quality exercises.

2. Competition
  • Rounds: There are 4 rounds a year. You must complete at least 2 to be eligible for prizes.
  • Stages: Between 2 and 4 stages per round, with 2 exercises per stage (the average is taken).
  • Standings: Your two best rounds of the year count towards the final score.
  • Appeals: Within 7 days of the round, to FEGAA.
3. Safety

Eye Protection: Mandatory at all times under FEGAA rules, except in the safe zone.

  • Each player is responsible for their own weapons and safety catches.
  • Sidearms must always be carried in a holster during the exercise to avoid risks.
4. Permitted Weapons

Long Guns: SMGs, assault rifles or DMRs. Always on semi-auto and within FEGAA power limits.

Sidearms: Replica pistols within the permitted power. They must be in a holster that keeps them from falling during the stage.

8. Targets

Targets can be static, falling, swinging or rotating.

  • "SHOOT" targets (sepia): Targets you must shoot.
  • "NO-SHOOT" targets (white): Targets you must not shoot (penalty).
  • Falling targets: Designed to fall with a maximum of 1 joule at 5 metres.
10. Scoring System

* 2 shots per target. If more are fired, the 2 worst hits will count.

11. Penalties and Fouls

Situations with no extra penalty (they only cost time):

  • Using the wrong weapon: you must switch to the right one, losing time.
  • Forgetting a magazine change: you must change it and repeat the shots.
  • Crossing the firing line: you must go back and repeat.
Serious Fouls: Disrespectful behaviour or safety breaches may lead to a ban for the whole season.
